Description: Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) is typically caused by a traumatic blow to (or penetration of) the spine that fractures or dislocates vertebrae. This course breaks down the different stages of SCI by discussing the 3 body systems affected by a SCI, the difference between a complete and incomplete SCI, and the characteristics of upper motor neurons versus lower motor neuron involvement post SCI.
